Five LCHS athletes sign letters of intent

[April 29, 2014]  Monday afternoon, five Lincoln Community High School senior athletes announced their selections of colleges. On hand for photos were Edward Bowlby, Matthew Brewer, Bobby Dunovsky and Joey Olden. Max Cook was unable to attend the signing event. Below is information on each of the five as provided by Sam Knox at LCHS.

Edward Bowlby

Major: Engineering

"Lincoln College is the best school and program that will prepare me to be as successful as possible in my future."
Edwards' Basketball career at LCHS: 4-year player; Central State 8 Special Mention as a Junior, Central State 8 All-Conference as a Senior, All-State Honorable Mention as Senior, and Central State 8 Academic All-Conference as a senior.

Matthew Brewer

Parents: Sharon Wilson & Vincent Brewer
Sport: Wrestling
College: McKendree University, Lebanon
Major: Psychology
Why do you feel this college is the right choice for you?
"I felt comfortable on campus and the wrestling was a bonus."

Max Cook

"It is a great fit for me basketball-wise and academically. I love St. Louis as well and they have a great coaching staff."
