Saturday morning before attending the grand opening of the Lincoln Heritage Museum, state Rep. Rich Brauer stopped by the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society to pick up his Abraham Lincoln statue. Brauer purchased No. 15 of 30 of the small replicas that are being sold to raise funds for a life-size statue to be placed on the lawn of the Logan County Courthouse. Pictured above from the left in the back are LCGHS members Chuck Conzo, John Sutton and Bill Donath with Brauer and member Mary Ellen Martin. Seated are members Wanda Lee Rohlfs to the left and JoAnne Marlin to the right. Photo by Curt Fox (Click on image for larger version.) |
