The upstairs area of
the museum is a maze of small rooms, with each one depicting a
memory from the life of Lincoln. In the background, visitors can hear the
metallic sound of a clock ticking. This emphasizes the
passing of time. While the moments between the gunshot and Lincoln's
final breath were only a few hours, the memories that might have
come to the surface in those final moments of breath were vast.
