Rigg began at ALMH in 2013 as a Nurse Tech on the Acute Care
floor. She earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in
order to obtain the position. Rigg is currently attending Heartland
Community College and hopes to attend nursing school in the future.
And while Rigg has not worked at ALMH very long, she has already
made a positive impact on her patients and co-workers.
Rigg was nominated by an ALMH patient for the recognition. The
patient said Rigg was deserving of the award because of her caring,
sweet, and hardworking nature. The patient explained that Rigg
consistently checked in and made sure that they had everything they
needed. The patient also pointed out that Rigg was always laughing,
smiling and enjoying her job.
“I enjoy taking care of patients and giving them excellent care. I’m
always trying to put a smile on their faces,” said Rigg.
