Mike Miller, who averaged 7.1 points per game last season,
reportedly signed a two-year contract worth $5.5 million. The deal
for James Jones, who won back-to-back titles with James in Miami, is
believed to be for one year at the league minimum.

The New York Knicks traded forward-center Jeremy Tyler, guard Wayne
Ellington and the rights to their 2016 second-round draft selection
to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for forwards Quincy Acy and
Travis Outlaw.

Blake Griffin resumed workouts in Los Angeles with teammate DeAndre
Jordan and said he has no limitations from a back injury that led
him to bow out of Team USA training camp last month.
"My whole thing is that I didn't want to go into (Clippers) camp and
put myself in a worse position," Griffin told the Los Angeles Times.
"It's not that my back is broken and I'm walking around with a
broken back, or I'm in so much pain."

Nike, Adidas and Under Armour are chasing Kevin Durant, who is a free
agent in the shoe and apparel endorsement company race with a $60
million contract that tied him to the Swoosh expiring.
Durant, who has two years and $39 million remaining on his current
contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, could command more than $30
