Logan County Relay for Life schedules wrap-up

[August 15, 2014]  LLINCOLN - Monday, August 25 has been set for the Relay For Life of Logan County’s wrap-up and final report. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Lincoln Christian Church in Lincoln.

Committee members, team captains – everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. “Cookin’ Up A Cure For Cancer” snacks, brought by any and all will be enjoyed as this years program is celebrated and evaluated.

Any donations collected since the Relay and all the canisters should be turned in at this time so amounts can be credited to this year’s goal of $71,000. At this point around $60,000 has been reported, additional donations are welcome but have to be turned in and recorded by August 31 to count for this year .

The thermometer on the Logan County Courthouse Square has been updated but will be taken down before the deadline collection date of August 31st.
