3rd Annual 5K Race/Walk for Reading at Atlanta Public Library

[August 19, 2014]  Are you a serious runner?  Do you run or walk for fun or exercise?  Do you simply like to walk with your friends or family and chat along the way?  Then come out and join the Atlanta Public Library’s third annual 5K Race/Walk for Reading on September 6, 2014.  This year’s race will be part of Atlanta’s Fall Festival activities.  Proceeds from the race will support 2014-15 programming and book purchases at the Library.

The timed race begins at 8:00am at the Library and will be followed by a kids’ fun run on the Library lawn at 9:00am.  The top finisher will receive a color Nook.  Registration is $15 per person in advance and $20 on race day. 

Trophies will be awarded in the following age groups: 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.
