For those who are 65 years of older and own and
live in their property may be eligible for 2 exemptions, the Senior
Citizen Homestead Exemption and the Senior Citizen Assessment Freese.
The Homestead Exemption can result in a
reduction of the assessed value of the home property by $5,000.
The Senior Citizen Assessment Freese is for
those who are age eligible and have a gross household annual income
of $55,000 or less.
The assessor’s office also wants to advise the
public it is currently working on updating photo records of Logan
County properties. As a result, homeowners may notice someone out
taking photos of their property. If anyone has questions or
