							Martha Lynn "Marty" Owens, 67, of Wichita Falls, 
							TX., formerly of Lincoln, passed away August 17, 
							2014 at home surrounded by her family.
 Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 
							25, 2014 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in 
							Lincoln. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, 
							August 26, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial 
							will follow in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
 
 Martha was born September 16, 1946 in Newport, AR., 
							the daughter of William Depmsey Reves and Lucy 
							Gertrude (Adams). She married Kenneth Kirk. He 
							preceded her in death. She then married Raymond 
							James Owens on December 10, 2010 in Wichita Falls, 
							TX.
 
 She worked construction, erecting steel buildings, 
							until her retirement at the age of 60. Marty was 
							ornery, yet loyal and loving. She enjoyed singing 
							Karaoke, was an avid collector of frog memorabilia, 
							loved to read, and had a genuine love for animals.

							Surviving are her husband Ray Owens of Wichita 
							Falls, TX.; her son Ken Kirk (Angie) of Mineral, 
							VA.; grandchildren Austin Kirk of Austin, TX. and 
							Chelsee Kirk of Garland, TX.; great granddaughter 
							Aubrey Elizabeth Ralston of Garland, TX.; brothers 
							Dennis Reves (Jessie) of Lincoln, IL., and Larry 
							(Kim ) Reves of Iowa; sisters Carol Reves of 
							Lincoln, IL. and Bonnie Vanouver also of Lincoln, 
							IL.; also surviving are her loyal canine companions 
							Shadow and Roxy.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, her first 
							husband Kenneth Kirk, two sons: Ward Austin Kirk and 
							John Henry Kirk, and her sisters Eunice Piper and 
							Evelyn Roggenbuck.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to Ray Owens and will 
							be accepted at the funeral home.
