LC Head Coach Mark Tippett: "It's always great to start out
the season with a win at home. We got off to a strong start but
tightened up in the middle of the first set. It seemed as though we
let a couple of errors get us off track and were unable to regroup
in time to avoid dropping the first set.

"In set two we had a hard time getting any momentum going on our serve,
but we were very efficient in siding out which kept us in the set.
Eventually we broke through and were able to score on our serves. From
that point on it felt as though we were in control of the match. I was
please with our play in all aspects of the game and look forward to
seeing how far this team can go this season."
Lincoln hits the road this weekend for three matches at the Oakton CC
Invite on Saturday.
