The vehicle was awarded through the IDOT Consolidated Vehicle
Procurement and is written on an annual basis by Program Director,
Angie Jenkins. “We provided nearly 20,000 rides last year and have
currently operated with only mini vans, so receiving this vehicle
will allow us to expand our opportunities and offer contract
services to partnering organizations” said Jenkins. LMPT is an “On
Demand Response” transportation system that is offered to
individuals of all ages throughout Logan and Mason County for a
reasonable fare. The program is partially funded with state and
federal monies from 5311, Downstate Operating Assistance and the
Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland,Inc. and also receives local
support from the United Way of Logan County and Logan/ Mason County
