[December 03, 2014]  LINCOLN - John Dreusicke retired from Ameren on December 1, 2013 after 33 years. During those years, his employment was with the utilities CILCO, CILCORP, AES and Ameren as a result of mergers and acquisitions from deregulation of the electric industry. The last fourteen years were with generating companies, including the Ameren electric generating company, Ameren Energy Marketing. John was a sales manager dealing with power and natural gas when Ameren Energy Marketing was transitioned to Dynegy on December 1, 2013.

After retiring from Ameren, John accepted a sales executive position with Dynegy. Dynegy provides wholesale power, capacity and ancillary services to utilities, cooperatives, municipalities and other energy companies in five states in key U.S. regions of the Midwest, the Northeast and the West Coast.

Dynegy has the capacity to generate enough electricity to power nearly 10 million homes nationwide. The company serves residential, municipal, commercial and industrial customers through its Homefield Energy and Dynegy Energy Services businesses in Illinois. John represents these two companies providing power, service, and market information for businesses, including various businesses and government facilities in Lincoln and Logan County.

John and his wife Renee moved to Lincoln after graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University. He has offices in Lincoln and Springfield.
