"Takes
on Nature" opens Nov. 6 at the Lincoln Art Institute

LINCOLN
- “Takes on Nature: Artists’ Views of the Great Outdoors” will open with a
reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at Lincoln Art Institute, which
is located at 112 S. McLean St., next to the Lincoln Post Office. |
An earlier news release gave an incorrect date
for the closing. The show, which will feature more than 20 pieces of
art, will remain on view through Dec. 10 for the enjoyment of
downtown Christmas shoppers.
Many of the pieces in the exhibit will be available for purchase.
Participating artists will include Georgie Borchardt, Marge Douglas,
Mitch Douglas, Jen Grimaldi, Lee Hahn, Bonnie Mayo, Pam Moriearty,
Moses Pinkerton, Terry “Rob” Robinson Jr., Kerry Rolewicz, Nancy
Rollings Saul, Tony Shuff and Sheryl Spove.
After opening night, the show will be available for viewing by
chance or appointment. Visitors may ring the doorbell and if curator
Moses Pinkerton is available he will open the gallery. For an
