NHL roundup: Capitals send O'Brien to AHL

 The Washington Capitals re-assigned forward Liam O'Brien to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League on Sunday.

O'Brien, 20, has one goal and one assist in 13 games with the Capitals this season.

He had 20 goals and 15 assists with 148 penalty minutes in 68 games with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season.

--The Arizona Coyotes assigned defenseman Andrew Campbell to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.

Campbell, 26, made his Coyotes debut and skated in 11:35 of ice time against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.

--The Anaheim Ducks played Sunday's game against Winnipeg without right winger Corey Perry, who was injured Friday. He will have an MRI on his left knee when the team returns home.
