A decision on Peterson's appeal of his six-game suspension for
violating the NFL's personal conduct policy is expected to come this
week from Harold Henderson, the league's hearing officer.
A source told ESPN that even if Henderson reinstates Peterson from
the commissioner exempt list, there is little belief that he will
play again this season.
If Peterson's ban holds up, he still must serve a minimum of six
games, which would carry over to next season. He would miss the
remaining three games of this season and the first three of 2015.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch believes a media
conspiracy will keep him out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Lynch, who generally does not speak to reporters, told former
teammate Michael Robinson of NFL Network in an interview that his
relationship with the media will prevent him from entering the Hall
of Fame.
"You know who votes for that," Lynch said. "They don't seem to ...
see eye to eye with me -- which is cool. And if I'm not,
(expletive), I'll still live."

after the season unless the team makes the playoffs. He can become a
free agent when the season ends.
If Hoyer decides on free agency, teams including the Houston Texans
are expected to be interested in him.
