Central Illinois Ag mourns the loss of Dave Evans

[December 11, 2014]  On December 5th, 2014, Dave Evans, partner of Central Illinois Ag, passed away. Dave was an active owner of Central Illinois Ag, and former owner of Evans Implement in Lawndale.

Central Illinois Ag, a family owned Case IH dealership in Atlanta, Clinton, Farmer City, and Mason City, dates back to 1898. Over time, four main family owned dealerships in Central Illinois came together (Schmidt Implement Company, Marcotte International, Evans Implement, and George H. Dunn) to form Central Illinois Ag. Evans Implement joined forces with Central Illinois Ag in 1992.

Dave’s passion for agriculture led him to be well-respected among the dealership and community. After a successful career in sales, Dave retired in May 2014.

Tim Evans, Dave’s son, remains an active owner of Central Illinois Ag.

Dave will be greatly missed in the community and by his CIA family.
