Jesus December 9, 2014 at home surrounded by love. |
Visitation:
Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Service:
Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary
Charles Edward "Chuck" Greer, 57, of Lincoln, went
Home to be with Jesus December 9, 2014 at home
surrounded by love.
A memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. Memorial services
will follow at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial donations
may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home
to help with funeral expenses.
Chuck was born September 23, 1956 in Melrose Park,
the son of Lou and Rita (Stitman) Greer. He married
Laura Poole on May 26, 2006 in Lincoln.
He was a self employed painter. He attended Lincoln
Christian Church. Chuck collected knives, enjoyed
woodworking, loved music, enjoyed traveling to
Chicago with his wife, had a tremendous green thumb,
and was an animal lover. He was a kind soul and a
free spirit. Chuck had a heart of gold. He loved to
laugh and joke and most importantly he LOVED to
love. |
Surviving are his wife Laura Greer of Lincoln; his
in laws Dave and Nancy Poole of Emden; his children
Nicole Hoffman of Lodi, CA. and Jason Hoffman of
Palo Alto, CA.; his brother Thomas Greer of
Milwaukee, WI.; his animals Dixie, Bud, Sophie,
Stinky, Harvey, and Peanut; and many friends and
extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister
Joyce Greer and his mother in law Helen Poole.
