[December 17, 2014]  LINCOLN - Mary Donna Michaelis, 80, of Lincoln, passed away December 15, 2014 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation:  From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Park Meadows Baptist Church, Lincoln.

Service: Monday at 1 p.m. at the church

Funeral home: Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Obituary

Mary Donna Michaelis, 80, of Lincoln, passed away December 15, 2014 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Park Meadows Baptist Church, Lincoln. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m.on Monday also at the church with Pastor Jeremy Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney.

Mary was born March 10, 1934 in Stonington, IL., the daughter of Russell and Donna L. (Francisco) Gilbert. She married Gene Phillips February 15, 1953. She later married Glenn Michaelis on August 1, 1982. She was a member of Park Meadows Baptist Church in Lincoln.

Surviving are her husband Glenn Michaelis of Lincoln.; her children R. Dale (Beverly) Phillips of Hot Springs Village, AR., Diana M. (Harley) Pagel of Lincoln,, and Robert E. Phillips of Lincoln; 5 grandchildren: Jenny Garcia, MaDonna Moughan, Daizia Phillips, Clayton Fagan and J.D. Fagan Jr.; 10 great grandchildren; sister Betty (Robert) Arnold of Decatur, brother Russell Gilbert of Houston, TX., brother Harold (Donna) Gilbert of Forsyth, and brother Dean (Susie) Gilbert of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

Memorial donations may be made to Park Meadows Baptist Church.
