They went 4-1 in pool play, only loosing to Pleasant Plains by a
slim 10 point margin. However, with a three way tie for first in the
pool, Lincoln came out on top for point totals from the first five
matches of the day with 470 points. Pleasant Plains and Riverton
were both close behind with 435 and 425 points each.
Lincoln and Pleasant Plains then both went on to the championship
bracket, where they beat out Athens and Warrensburg-Latham
respectively, causing them to face off again in the first place
match.
After an exciting round of 20 toss up questions, Lincoln pulled
ahead to win the championship by 20 points.
Captain Reagen Tibbs made the all-tournament team with the fourth
highest personal point total at 225.

Kylee Foster was another stand out for the day, making the
all-tournament team with the second highest personal point total
at 270.
Coaches Josh Bartels and Mary Becker were both incredibly proud
of how hard their team worked to earn what is most likely the first
tournament championship for a JV team in program history.
