If you've driven along Pulaski Street on the south side of the Logan County Courthouse or near the Lincoln IGA, you may have noticed the orange rods sticking up out of the ground. Lincoln City Street Superintendent Walt Landers recently explained the rods. If the city should get a heavy snow, snow-plowers are not familiar with the new curb structure yet. The rods have reflective tape that will help plow drivers know where the outset curbs are located to prevent injuring themselves or damaging snow plow equipment and the curbs.
