Obituary
Phyllis J. Webster, 80, of Lincoln passed away at
3:35 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St.
Clara’s Manor.
Phyllis was born on February 23, 1934 in Green
Valley, daughter of John and Ada M. Goodin Harris.
She was united in marriage to Joseph J. “Jack”
Webster on July 2, 1959 in Lincoln. He preceded her
in death on June 27, 1998. Phyllis is survived by
her three daughters: Mary (Bruce) Kelley of Lincoln;
Cindy (Ron) Fleshman of Lincoln; Carla Wolf of
Bloomington; son: Joseph Webster Jr. of Palm Harbor,
FL; six grandchildren: Amy Jo and Angela Kelley;
Kristen (John) Harmsen; Michael Fleshman; Jennifer
and Jacob Wolf; two sisters: Ruth Kurtz of Delavan,
Beverly Derry of Galva and one brother: John Harris
of Westwego, LA. Phyllis was preceded in death by
her parents; one sister: Virginia Moldenhauer; and
one brother: Marshall Harris.

Phyllis spent her time as a homemaker. She worked
for State Farm Ins., Lincoln Park District, and Haas
Bakery. After retirement, Phyllis was a foster
grandparent, proudly known as Grandma Phyllis to
many young students. Phyllis was a member of Holy
Family Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary,
VFW Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
She was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A private
graveside service will be held at a later date. The
family wants to express a special thanks to St.
Clara’s Manor staff and Safe Haven Hospice.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School or
Safe Haven Hospice.
Arrangements for Phyllis were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Lincoln.
