SPRINGFIELD — William E. "Bill"
Stoltzenburg, 55, of Springfield, formerly of Lincoln, died
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at 5:17 p.m. at St. John's Hospital.

SPRINGFIELD-William E. "Bill" Stoltzenburg, 55, of
Springfield, formerly of Lincoln died at 5:17 p.m.
February 5, 2014 at St. John’s Hospital,
Springfield, Illinois.
Bill was born September 18, 1958 in Lincoln the son
of William L. and Janice Maxheimer Stoltzenburg.

Bill is survived by his father, William L. of
Hartsburg; one daughter: Christine Robbins of
Decatur; one son: Brandon Stoltzenburg of Clinton;
one grandson: Karsen of Decatur; two sisters: Brenda
Merriman of Cloverdale, IN and Patty (Jeff) Baker of
Decatur; two nephews: Jesse (Tara) Merriman of
Indiana and Drake Baker of Decatur; one niece:
Whitley Baker of Decatur; and his fiancée, Sandy
Newsom of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal
grandparents Phillip and Estella Maxheimer; paternal
grandparents: Armin and Nelva Stoltzenburg.
He was a member of Glass Molders and Potters Union.
He had worked as a maintenance mechanic at Verallia
for 37 years and had retired in December 2013.
Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 10,
2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln with Rev. Candida Turner officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 prior to the
services. Memorials may be made to the family of
Bill Stoltzenburg.
