[February 13, 2014]  The Lincoln Christian University Red Lions men's basketball team hosted Illinois Institute of Technology at Gaston Arena on Tuesday night. LCU led the whole way in their 95-82 victory.

From the opening bucket, the home team dominated the visitors with defensive intensity that produced turnover after turnover, allowing the Red Lions to stride out to a 53-26 lead at the half.

The second half saw the Scarlet Hawks surge back from the 27-point deficit and close it to 60-47 after the first six minutes of play. This 13-point margin would hold through the rest of the game as both teams paced each other in scoring, fouls and turnovers.

Tuesday's game saw every LCU player score at least two points. The deluge of scoring was led by senior forward David Graves (Eustace, Texas/Eustace High) with 16 points, followed by freshman forward Josiah Gordon (Springfield/Lanphier High) with 14 and senior guard Blake Saathoff (Bruce, S.D./Estelline High) with 13.
