			Steve M. Kraft, 32, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 
			2014, at 2:08 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							Lincoln -- Steven M. Kraft, 32, of Lincoln, died on 
							Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 2:08 a.m. at Abraham 
							Lincoln Memorial Hospital. 
							Visitation for Steve will be on Sunday, February 23, 
							2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Peasley 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln. A Rosary Service will be 
							held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Peasley Funeral Home 
							prior to the visitation. Additional visitation time 
							will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on 
							Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Peoria. 
							A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 
							February 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude 
							Catholic Church on 10811 N. Knoxville Road in 
							Peoria. Rev. Patrick Henehan and Rev. Jeffrey Laible 
							will officiate. 
							Burial will be in St. Mary of Wood Cemetery in 
							Princeville. 
							Steven M. Kraft was born November 30, 1981, at OSF 
							St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, the son of William 
							D. and Carolyn Monser Kraft. He was united in 
							marriage to Katie Maholovich on April 5, 2008. Steve is survived by his wife, Katie; their sons, 
							Lucas and Liam; his parents, William and Carolyn; 
							one sister, Susan (Kris) Spaulding of Bloomington; 
							two brothers, David Kraft of Urbana and Joseph 
							(Rachel) Kraft of Georgetown, Texas; and his German 
							"brother" Udo Pross of Germany.
 
							He was preceded in death by his grandparents. | 
                
                 
		 
							Steve is a 2000 graduate of Dunlap High School and a 
							2004 graduate of the University of Illinois. 
							He was currently working for the State of Illinois 
							Department of Revenue and had previously worked for 
							State Bank of Lincoln. He was a member of Holy 
							Family Church in Lincoln and a 4th Degree Knight in 
							the Knights of Columbus Council #1250. 
							Steve was an aspiring author. 
							He loved being a husband to Katie and father to 
							Lucas and Liam. He brought such incredible joy and 
							humor to his family and friends. 
							In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 
							Lucas and Liam Kraft Education Fund at State Bank of 
							Lincoln. 
							Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Lincoln.
