As a physical therapist assistant, Beutel works directly with
patients, providing individualized therapy on land and in the warm
water therapy pool at ALMH. Beutel earned an associate degree from
Illinois Central College following completion of the physical
therapy assistant program.
"I'm thankful to work at ALMH because through my job I can apply
what I learned in school while serving others and working together
with co-workers to meet needs," said Beutel. "ALMH is a great place
to work because of the community atmosphere and the camaraderie
between co-workers," she said.
Beutel was nominated for the award by a grateful patient and a
co-worker, who both recognized her outstanding work at ALMH. The
patient appreciated Beutel's positive attitude and ability to
motivate during what were sometimes difficult exercises through the
rehabilitation journey. Beutel's anonymous co-worker praised her for
excellent time management skills and willingness to help others to
ensure a great patient experience.
