Two microbreweries from Springfield were present to offer their best
thirst-quenchers for washing down great Guzzardo's pizza. The YPN
members were selling different selections that rounded out the
samplings. Guests moved from station to station filling out their
ballot cards and rating each of their choices. Ballots were then
submitted, and from those, someone was a lucky winner of the prize
drawing. Donations from the event would be used to support the
Young Professionals' mission of connecting with one another,
building strong relationships, growing together and developing ties
to the community through volunteer service and other community
events.
The Young Professionals Network, launched in November 2012, is a
division of the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce. YPN
reflects the vision of the chamber to be the advocate for business
in the area. It provides opportunities to enhance the business
environment for the benefit of chamber members, and Lincoln and
Logan County.
