LINCOLN — Patricia "Pat" Aper, 64, of
Lincoln, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at 5 p.m. at St. Clara's
Manor.

LINCOLN-Patricia "Pat" Aper, 64, of Lincoln died at
5:00 p.m. January 9, 2014 at St. Clara's Manor,
Lincoln.
Pat was born June 25, 1949 in Lincoln, the daughter
of Eldon and Lucille Spurling Mallinson. She married
John Aper January 25, 1969 in Emden, IL. He survives
in Lincoln.
Pat is survived by two daughters: Janel (Francis)
Hobbs of Rochester, IL; Jodell Roberts of Lincoln;
Allen (Cindy) Aper of Atlanta, IL; one sister: Carla
(Claude) Van Fossan of Lincoln; grandchildren:
Riley, Erica, and Brady Wolpert; Kalyn and Mya
Roberts; Step Grandchildren: Samantha, Mitch, and
Annie Hobbs. Pat was preceded in death by her
parents.

Pat had worked at Eaton Corporation, Lincoln and
Economy Fire and Casualty Co., Lincoln. She was a
homemaker, and a dearly loved wife, mother, and
grandmother. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church in Hartsburg and the Oasis Senior Center. She
enjoyed making crafts with other people.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14 from
4:00-7:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Lincoln.
Services will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m.
with Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Burial will be in
Zion Cemetery at a later date, following cremation.
Memorials may be given in her memory to Memorial
Hospice Home Services or Humane Society of Logan
County. Arrangements were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home.
