CEL splits pair with Springfield Christian

[January 11, 2014]  SPRINGFIELD — Chester-East Lincoln split a pair of games Thursday at Springfield Christian.
The Wildcats won the seventh-grade contest 46-19. Nick Toft scored 14 and Dean Harris added five points for the Panthers.

The CEL eighth-grade team improved to 15-0, defeating the Wildcats 53-26. Josh Vinson led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points and six rebounds while Jordan Jacobs had 12 points and six steals, Isaiah Bowers had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Sam Birnbaum had eight points. Nate Arnold scored three points and Jace McIntosh added two points to round out the scoring for CEL.
