Lincoln Junior High volleyball results

[January 11, 2014]  On Friday the Lincoln Junior High volleyball team played their first match of the season against Springfield Little Flower.

The seventh-grade girls came away with a win. The scores were 25-23 for the first game and 25-21 for the second.

Stats for the seventh-grade match:

• Audrey Dennison: 2 aces and 2 service points

• Madison Farris: 5 service points

• Emily Craig: 10 service points

The LJHS eighth-graders came out with a loss in three games. They won the first game 25-19 and lost the next two 8-25, 8-25.

Stats for the eighth-grade match:

• Grace Bossingham: 4 service points, 2 blocks, 8 kills

• Emma Cline: 5 service points, 4 aces, 3 digs

• Kerstin Osborne: 7 digs

• Lexi Clark: 14 assists and 2 aces

The Trojans will compete on Monday in Athens
