Joseph B. Parrott, 46, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at
4:25 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

LINCOLN-Joseph B. Parrott, 46, of Lincoln died at
4:25 p.m. January 11, 2014 at Memorial Medical
Center, Springfield, IL.
Joe was born August 14, 1967 in Lincoln, IL the son
of Joseph B. and Barbara J. Helton Parrott. His
parents preceded him in death.
Joe is survived by his fiancé Donna Hutchison; three
brothers: Michael L. Parrott of Petersburg, FL;
David W. Sutton and Rick Sutton, both of Lincoln;
Several aunts and uncles and cousins.

Joe worked in the parts department at Xamis Ford,
Lincoln. He loved working on cars during race season and helping build motors,
he loved racing Remote Control Cars; he enjoyed fishing and woodworking; and he
was always there for and always enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Services for Joe will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Friday, January 17, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral in Lincoln with Brian Snodgrass officiating. A
visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday,
January 16, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zion
Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials may be made to his longtime
fiancé Donna Hutchison.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday,
January 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion,
Lincoln.
