RIVERTON — Edna O. Davis, 88, of
Riverton, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 1:21 p.m. at St. John's
Hospital in Springfield.

Riverton: Edna O. Davis, 88, of Riverton passed away
at 1:21 P.M. Monday January 13, 2014 at St. John's
Hospital in Springfield.
She was born May 21, 1925 in Logan County, the
daughter of Orville Harbert Defrees and Hazel Moore
Defrees. She married Wm. Carroll Davis on February
19, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 9,
1976. Also preceding in death were her parents, two
brothers, Billy O. Defrees and Gene Roy Defrees.

Mrs. Davis was a member of the Riverton Christian
Church. She graduated from Elkhart Community High
School.
She is survived by two sons, Randy C. (Tammy) Davis
of Mechanicsburg, IL and Terry Lynn Davis of El
Segundo, CA, two grandsons, Randy C. Davis of
Springfield and Terry Lee Davis of Riverton.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January
20, 2014 at Veail Chapel, Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt.
Pulaski with Grant Ray officiating. Visitation will
be one hour prior to services at Veail Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Services were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
