			Phillip Michael Hopp, 66, of Lincoln, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at 
			1:36 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							LINCOLN-Phillip Michael Hopp, 66, of Lincoln, IL 
							died at 1:36 a.m. January 17, 2014 at Memorial 
							Medical Center, Springfield, IL. 
							Phillip was born August 23, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois 
							the son of Donald E. and Anneta M. Willmert Hopp. He 
							married Karen Cobb on June 12, 1976. | 
                    
					 
							Surviving Phillip are his mother: Anneta Hopp of 
							Lincoln; three sons: Duane Hopp of Eldorado, IL; 
							Harry Hopp of Lincoln; Derek (Cathy) Hopp of 
							Lincoln; two brothers: Jon (Julie) Hopp of Mason 
							City; Donnie Hopp of Lincoln; one sister: Donna 
							Sommers of Beason; seven grandchildren: Ashtin, 
							Ayden, Emma, Abby, Jesse, Alivia and Coleton; one 
							great granddaughter: Addison and numerous nieces and 
							nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.  
							Phillip worked at PPG for 20 years and then Mt. 
							Pulaski Products cob plant. He was a member of the 
							Eagles Lodge #2708. He served in the US Army. 
							Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, 
							January 23, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
							Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorials may be given to 
							Logan County Paramedics Association or the Lincoln 
							Fire and Rescue. Private graveside services will be 
							held at a later date with full military rites by 
							American Legion Post #263. |
