Falling behind quickly in the first few minutes at 7-0, the Red
Lions chased the Tigers for the entire game. On four occasions
LCU fell behind by a margin of 13 points or more and surged back
to within six. Lincoln went into the locker room behind 47-33 at
halftime.
LCU came out fired up in the second half and took the game to
Grace, outscoring them 36-35, but it wasn't enough of a margin
to take the game. After a fantastic effort, the Red Lions fell
82-69.
LCU senior guard Brian Dyal (Rockford/Berean Christian High)
led the Red Lions in scoring with 14 points, and sophomore guard
Anthony Rush, (Peoria/Illinois Central College) contributed 11
points.
The Red Lions travel to Chicago on Tuesday to meet Moody
Bible Institute in a dual matchup along with the women's team.
