Lincoln College announces tuition freeze for 2014-15

[January 20, 2014]  At the Lincoln College board of trustees meeting in December, the board approved extending a tuition freeze through the 2014-2015 academic year. The freeze also applies to room and board fees for students living on campus.

Tuition for full-time students will remain at $8,250 per semester, or $16,500 per year, through spring 2015. Average room, board and other fees for a full-time residential student are estimated at $4,000 per semester, or $8,000 per year. Many students receive state and federal financial aid, and numerous scholarships are available to help further reduce a student's personal out-of-pocket cost.

Rick Samuels, Lincoln College's vice president for enrollment management and student services, said: "Two years ago Lincoln College took a bold step and reduced tuition by $6,500. That trend is catching on at other colleges and universities across the country. Now, for the third year in a row, Lincoln College is keeping tuition frozen at that reduced rate, and we continue to work with prospective students to provide scholarships and grants to further reduce the cost of attending Lincoln College. The result is many students are finding Lincoln College to be a very affordable private, residential, small-campus setting that is very appealing to them and their families."
