LATHAM — Margaret R. Cook, 87, of
Latham, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at 5:36 p.m. at Imboden Creek
Living Center in Decatur.

Latham: Margaret R. Cook, 87, of Latham passed away
at 5:36 P.M. Sunday January 26, 2014 at Imboden
Creek Living Center in Decatur.
Margaret was born on October 25, 1926 in Latham, IL,
to Edward and Lelia Schick. She married Charles
Russell Cook on October 23, 1948. He preceded her in
death on April 25, 2001. She was also preceded in
death by her sisters Catherine and Gertrude and
brothers Frank and Ed.
She is survived by nephews, Dan (Ruth) Schick and
Michael Schick, niece, Mary K. (Tom) Walter, great
nieces and nephews, Chris (Lacey) Schick, Natalie
(Kelly) Friesen, James Walter and Mary Ellen Walter
as well as five great-great nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday January 29,
2014 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Illiopolis,
IL with Father Clint Honkomp O.P. officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 prior to
services. Burial will be at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery.
Aunt Margaret was very proud of her entire family's
military service to our country. Memorials may be
made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation, P.O. Box
758517 Topeka, KS 66675 or to Resurrection Catholic
Church.
Services are being handled by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
