Obituary
Eileen White, 89, of Lincoln passed away at 8:34
p.m. June 29, 2014 at St. John’s Hospital,
Springfield.
Eileen was born May 15, 1925 in Riverton, the
daughter of Edward and Ethel Wright Shane. She
married Burnell White October 27, 1945 in Ventura,
CA. He preceded her in death April 30, 1985.
Eileen is survived by one son: Robert (Judy) White
of Rochelle; one daughter: Judy (Dave) Park of
Hampshire; one sister: Wilma (William) O’Brien of
Lincoln; five grandchildren; fourteen great
grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband
and one sister.
Eileen was retired from Illinois Bell. She was a
member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln. |
Services for Eileen will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014
at 2:00 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln with Rev. Robert Henderson
officiating. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery,
Lincoln. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until
the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorials
may be given to American Heart Association or
American Cancer Society.
