Logan County Democrats Annual Chicken Dinner scheduled for July 10

[July 02, 2014]  The Logan County Democrats will host their annual Chicken Dinner on Thursday, July 10th at the Knights of Columbus, 217 N. Limit Street, Lincoln.

Serving will be from 4:30-7:00 pm with a full menu including fresh garden produce dishes and homemade desserts.

There will be musical entertainment, featuring "The Amazing Elvis Guy" from 4:30-5:30. Democratic candidates will speak at 6:00. As a part of the "Clean House" movement, Darrell Miller, a farmer from McLean, Illinois, is a candidate for US Congress, 18th District. Darrell Miller will be the special guest speaker.

Door Prizes, 50/50 drawing, and special gifts will be given throughout the evening. Raffle tickets for the RCA 50" TV with HDTV/LED will also be sold. The drawing for the TV will be held at the Logan County Fair.
