LINCOLN – Memorial Home
Services Hospice and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
will host a free seminar in July on how people can
discuss end-of-life wishes with their loved ones.
|
The seminar will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, in the Steinfort
Meeting Room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, 200 Stahlhut
Drive.
“Many people often feel uncomfortable about discussing end-of-life
wishes with someone they love,” said Ronda Dudley, director of home
health and hospice at Memorial Home Services. “We’ll help people
address this common discomfort associated with death and how people
can open up the discussion to learn more about their loved one’s
wishes.”
The program will also include showing the film, “Consider the
Conversation: A Documentary on a Taboo Subject.”
A representative from Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital will present
information on advance directives and provide take-home planning
materials for families.
