[July 21, 2014]  ATLANTA - Jeanne S. Strohkirch, 64, of Atlanta passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 3:45 p.m. at Heartland Health Care Center in Normal.

Visitation: Monday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.

Service: Monday at 3 p.m. at the Atlanta Assembly of God Church

Funeral home: Quiram Peasley Funeral Home, Atlanta.

Obituary

Jeanne S. Strohkirch, 64, of Atlanta, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Heartland Health Care in Normal.

Funeral services for Ms. Strohkirch will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, at Atlanta Assembly of God Church with Pastor Paul Weber officiating.

Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery immediately following the service.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Jeanne is survived by her children: Brian Leesman of Atlanta, Candice (Erik Pyle) Leesman of Atlanta, and Nicole (Josh) White of Normal; siblings: Jim (Marilyn) Strohkirch of Bloomington, Diane (Steven) Tirpak of LeRoy, Darrell R. Strohkirch of Atlanta, Kathy Derry of Galesburg, Keith (Paula) Strohkirch of Crystal City, Mo.; Sister-in-Law: Kathy Woolridge of Atlanta; four grandchildren: Kylie Bishop, Kaden Leesman, Devin Pyle and Grady White; 15 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; Margaret and Wayne Leesman and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Edna Strohkirch and one brother, Leslie Strohkirch.

Jeanne Sue Strohkirch was born March 27, 1950, in Bloomington, the daughter of Clifford B. and Edna Lois Cook Strohkirch.

Jeanne retired from Eaton Corporation in 2013. She was a member of the Atlanta Assembly of God. She was a loving and hard-working single mother of three. She loved her flowers, faith, friends and family. She will be always missed and never forgotten.

Memorials may be made to Atlanta Assembly of God.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home.
