Millikin University to offer Summer Visit Day Programs

[July 23, 2014]  DECATUR - Millikin University will be offering Summer Visit Day Programs for prospective high school students on Friday, July 18 and Monday, August 11, 2014.

Campus visit days allow prospective students and their families to get acquainted with Millikin University. Through a visit, prospective students will learn more about Millikin's academics, organizations, financial aid and admission process. Touring the campus will give prospective students and their families a feel for the university.

Check-in for the Visit Days will start at 8:30 a.m. in the lower level of Shilling Hall. The day includes a welcome orientation in Albert Taylor Theatre followed by a tour of the campus.

Prospective students will also have an opportunity to experience "Performance Learning in Action." Students will disperse for a 90-minute session geared toward their field of study as parents will be invited to participate in panels led by Millikin University leaders to discuss the Millikin experience. The day will conclude with lunch in Wornick Dining Hall where information tables will be available for student access.
