Obituary
Mary Mae DiPasquale, 80, of Mason City died
Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 8:18 a.m. at her home
with family by her side.
Mary was born December 23, 1933 in Tallulah,
Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Day Smith.
She married William DiPasquale December 6, 1952 in
Springfield, IL. He survives in Mason City.
She is also survived by children: Donna (William)
Sims of Mason City; Tina DiPasquale of Mason City;
Gregory (Katherine Lemley) DiPasquale of Denver, CO;
Lori (Barry) Garrison of Mason City; and Steve
(Jennifer) DiPasquale of Lincoln; ten grandchildren
and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents, one brother: Joseph Smith,
stepfathers: Paul Bast and Maxwell Conger.

Mary had worked as a nurse’s aide at Memorial
Medical Center, Springfield, for several years;
Wal-Mart in Lincoln and she was a homemaker. She is
a member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln.
Services for Mary will be Monday, July 21, 2014 at
10:00 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln. There will be no visitation or burial.
Memorials may be given in her memory to St. Jude’s
Children’s Hospital.
