Obituary
Phyllis Leesman, 80, of Lincoln died at 4:29 p.m.
July 23, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center,
Springfield.
Phyllis was born August 9, 1933 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Henry and Helen Amberg
Dirks. She married Lloyd Leesman March 13, 1954 in
Havana, IL. He survives in Lincoln.
She is also survived by one son: Steven (Lori)
Leesman of Hartsburg; one daughter: LuAnn (Mark)
Bateman of Heyworth; six grandchildren; eight great
grandchildren; one brother: Henry Dirks of Kewanee,
and one sister: Joyce Blake of Springfield. She was
preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two
brothers.
Phyllis was a homemaker and member of Faith Lutheran
Church of Lincoln.

Services were held for Phyllis at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Burial was in Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Memorials may be given in her memory to the Faith
Lutheran Church.
