On Wednesday evening kids gathered on the track in front of the grandstand at the fair for the annual "scramble" event. This is one of the most enjoyable shows at the Logan County Fair each year. Kids plot and plan on how to catch a chicken, goat, pig, or calf; while the animals, well the animals just run, and run, and run. In the end though the kids usually win out, claiming a prize that they will then show at next year's Logan County Fair. LDN will have more coverage of the annual scramble in its Friday edition.
