The program will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 6
behind Northwest School. The Jefferson students will walk over to be
a part of the program. During the event cancer prevention education
and information will be shared including sun protection, tobacco and
healthy eating, exercise.
Fundraising will be highlighted during the week when the students at
both schools will raise money through class competition dress-up
days where they can pay one dollar and dress up in various themes.
Survivors attending are encouraged to wear their survivor shirts and
medallions and arrive before 9 a.m. In case of rain the event will
be held inside the schools.
