LINCOLN - Walter W. "Bill" Reichle, 86,
of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:51 a.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. |
Rosary Service:
12:45 p.m. on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church
Visitation:
1:00 p.m.
Friday until time of service at the church.
Service:
2: p.m. Friday

Obituary
Walter W. "Bill" Reichle, 86, of Lincoln passed away
on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:51 a.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Friday,
May 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at
Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Glen Fontana
officiating.
A Rosary Service will be held at 12:45
p.m. on Friday prior
to the visitation at the church.
Visitation will be held from 1:00
p.m. until
time of service at the church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery
following the service.
Walter William "Bill" Reichle was born on December
9, 1927 in Lincoln the son of Walter "Walt" William
and Katherine Hink Reichle. He was united in
marriage to Frances M. Eimer on March 17, 1951 at
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lincoln. She survives.

Also surviving are his son: Bill (Julie) Reichle of
Dubuque, Iowa, three grandchildren: Joe (Lisa)
Reichle of Australia, Erin Reichle and Maria (Jake)
Hedley both of Iowa. One brother: Vern Reichle of
Lincoln. Many nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated from Lincoln Community High School.
He then served in the United States Army.
He retired from Lehn and Fink.
Bill was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
He enjoyed golfing and watching all of the Chicago
sports teams: Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks. His
grandkids were the center of his life. He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bill's family would like to thank the staff of both
St. Clara's Manor and Memorial Medical Center for
the care given to him while he was a patient with
them.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's
choice.
