Friday, a large turnout for
the annual Chamber Golf Outing brought a smile to Lincoln/Logan
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Andi Hake.
The event held each spring is one important fundraiser for the
chamber.
The day began with everyone enjoying a box lunch from Jimmy Johns,
and also some tantalizing smoked meats from Frank Cox, the Smoker
Builder.
The lawn area next to the Elks lodge at the golf course is a perfect
place for folks to gather and enjoy each other’s company before
hitting the greens.
This year the chamber raffled off two great prizes; a trip to
Florida, and an Ugly Drum Smoker with a $400 IGA gift certificate to
go along with it.
After a few words from Hake, the golfers hit the greens.
At the end of the day there was a dinner held in the Elks Ballroom
for the golfers, and later in the night live music, which was open
to the public.
