			LINCOLN - Logan County Farm Bureau is 
			presenting “Logan Ag Flavors – A Taste of Logan County Agriculture”, 
			on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Logan County Farm Bureau Building, 
			120 S. McLean Street, Lincoln, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. | 
        
            | 
			 The afternoon is planned as a showcase of local flavors, produced 
			by Logan County farmers and producers. The vision for this free 
			event is to offer an opportunity to meet local farmers and ag-related 
			producers, taste their wholesome, safe, and locally grown ag 
			products, and learn about Logan County Agriculture. 
 Local farmers and ag-related producers presenting their products 
			include: Gail’s Pumpkin Patch, Heartland Beef Alliance, Huelskoetter 
			Pork, Irwindale Holsteins & Prairie Farms Dairy, JAM Sweet Treats – 
			Baked Goods - using locally grown products, Sasse’s Apiary – Honey, 
			Schreiner Farms – Lamb, Voyles Family Farms – Eggs & Chickens, and 
			local farmers’ market participants,
 
 The Lincoln Area YMCA and Logan County 4-H will also be on hand to 
			offer youth educational resources and activities.
 
 McLean County Farm Bureau’s Mobile Ag Education Trailer, “Food & 
			Farm Discovery Zone” will be available to children and adults 
			attending the event, to see corn harvested from the driver’s seat in 
			a combine cab simulator and learn about the importance of family 
			farmers.
