Corey Ingram is sworn into duty with the city of Lincoln by Mayor Keith Snyder. Ingram is taking on the newly created position of Assistant Building and Safety Officer. Ingram has been working part time in the Building and Safety office for a while. With this change, her position will become full time and her responsibilities will increase. The city approved creating this position at budget time this spring. Building and safety officer John Lebegue said recently having a fulltime assistant in the office will improve the office's ability to enforce city codes.
