 The chapter was selected as the top chapter in
Section 14, a Gold Emblem chapter, and a National Finalist.
In addition, the following four Hartsburg-Emden FFA members received
their State FFA Degrees: Alicia Clark, Zach Bryan, Randy Grohmann
and Meg Meeker.
Cody Conrady was recognized as the American Star Finalist in
Agriculture business – placement.
Alicia Clark was recognized as a gold emblem chapter president.
Meg Meeker was recognized as placing third in the Prepared Public
Speaking career development event.

 Finally, Willow Krumwiede, a former Hartsburg-Emden
FFA member and now a member of the Pittsfield FFA chapter was
elected as the 2014 Illinois FFA Treasurer.
