Obituary
Shirley M. Dodson, 82, passed
away at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday June 14, 2014 at Lewis
Memorial Christian Village in Springfield.
Shirley was born on October 17,
1931 in Chestnut; daughter of Todd D. and Nancy F.
Crowe Buehler. She married Paul Dodson. He preceded
her in death on September 12, 1986.
Shirley is survived by her
children: Bill (Tracey) Dodson of Springfield; Nancy
(Shawn) Beasley of Springfield; Dan (Lisa) Dodson of
Peoria; seven grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents and one brother: Rex Buehler. Shirley
attended West Side Christian Church in Springfield. |
A Memorial service for Shirley will be held at 12:00
p.m. Friday June 20, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski with Vaughn Beeman
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
service. A burial at Mount Pulaski Cemetery will
follow the service. Memorials may be given to the
American Cancer Society or American Diabetes
Association.
